At SEND Protect Academy CIC, we provide free financial education and resources for families of neurodiverse children and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
We support parents and carers in protecting their child’s financial future through accessible workshops, support groups, and one-to-one consultations. Our guidance helps you understand and navigate the financial services, planning options, and protections available to your family.
Our community is here to support families on their journey toward financial security. We work closely with charities, CICs, and other support organisations to strengthen the help available to families. We also send out regular newsletters to keep our community informed and connected, and we actively attend and support local coffee mornings and events. All of our activities take place within an inclusive environment that encourages open communication, builds friendships, and offers ongoing support.
SEND Protect Academy CIC offers free financial education and information for families of children with SEND, helping you understand the financial services available to support your family’s future. We can also connect you with qualified and regulated, SEND-trained experts who can help you create a tailored financial plan that meets your unique needs. This can include support with wills and guardianship arrangements, lasting powers of attorney, trusts to protect means-tested benefits, pensions, savings, life cover, protection, and much more.
We have developed a SEND Directory of trusted contacts to support families of neurodiverse children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Our directory helps parents and carers connect with essential services, educational support, financial experts, government benefits, charities, and organisations that support neurodiverse and SEND communities. If you are a SEND specialist, neurodiversity practitioner, or support organisation and would like to be included in our directory, please send us your details.

Testimonials
We attended a webinar and I must say kudos to the whole team. Very informative and discussed a lot of new things we did not know about finances regarding children with special needs. Appreciate how information can be easily understood, panel open for questions and follow up calls and the service being free. Keep up the good work!
We attended a free seminar which described all the financial things that a family should consider to care for a child with special needs. We found the discussions comprehensive, providing a general overview. Detailed reviews and planning for individual cases can be undertaken in subsequent one to one meetings with referrals to specialists depending on individual circumstances.

Very good knowledge transfer for what to plan for SEND parents. E.g importance of LPA, wills and trust.
Very good knowledge transfer for what to do? and what to plan in future specially SEND person or family.
Trust, will, LPA requirements Informations was very high level but good to know.
